Kurzfassung

New method to produce from a natural raw material (PHB) a adjustable polymer that can replace oil-based plastics to produce. Adjustable with respect to its material properties (elasticity, strength). The polymer produced in this way is completely biodegradable.


Hintergrund

 

 


Lösung

New method to produce out of bacteria produced polyhydroxybutyrate PHB plastic, and without thereby polluting reagents are used. Using the process parameters, the material properties can be adjusted in a temperature range up to 150 degrees Celius.


Vorteile

Material produced in the patented way is able to replace oil based polymers and is processable by injection molding.


Anwendungsbereiche

Matrial could replace every plastic when biocompatibility and sustainability is asked.
